An experience-sharing study trip to the Czech Republic was successfull.

This knowledge-sharing event has shown different sides of Ukrainian work migration to the Czech Republic.

The Lviv CMA coordinator (see www.migrantinfo.org.ua) was a participant of the study visit group that visited Czech Republic during February 24-28, 2009. This event was a part of the Czech-Ukrainian project that fights with illegal migration by increasing awareness about this issue both in Ukraine and in the Czech Republic. It is co-implemented by the Czech NGO "People in Need" and the Ukrainian NGO "Center for Information Research "Meridian". The participants had an opportunity to meet with the leading Czech NGOs that assist migrants and fight trafficking, and listened to the true stories of Ukrainians working in the Czech Republic. Besides, the trip was a perfect partnership-building opportunity.
