Our seminar in adult education for rural activists
A methodic adult education seminar was held recently in the Lvivska Oblast
The seminar was a part of the Travelling High School Project organized by the West-Ukrainian Resource Center and co-implemented by the Sankta-Maria Folk High School from Malmo, Sweden (see www.sanktamaria.fhsk.se), and the Kashubian Folk High School from Wiezyca in Poland (see www.kfhs.com.pl), supported by the Swedish Institute (see www.si.se). During the seminar, local group leaders of rural activist community groups from 10 villages of the western part of Ukaine have co-developed and practiced hands-on tools useful for the launch of a network of local adult educators in the West of Ukraine. It is expected that local activists of the project will hold further educational events in their villages during 2009 and will implement a range of small projects in the adult education field.
